Welcome to The Write Foot! The purpose of this blog is to provide the quick & dirty low-down on grammar to help you become a better writer (and if I manage to convert a grammar offender or two, that’d be awesome!). Hypothetical situation: you’re writing an email to your boss, and you stump your grammatical big toe somewhere along the way. You don’t have time to read through pages upon pages of rules, exceptions, etc. and time is running out. You need an answer and you need it now! You, my dear friend, have come to the right place.
I promise to make learning English grammar as fun as I possibly can. I will not bore you with long, tedious explanations of terms, origin and other things not essential to making the right grammatical decisions (or avoiding the faux pas that make me gag!). I will, however, provide links to such resources for the eager-beavers among us
So join me for a journey I hope you will enjoy tremendously. I will teach you “the write foot” way to lots of cool stuff over the course of this blog, so stay tuned!
Would you like me to post an article on anything in particular? Leave a comment below and let me know!
(Or, if you’re shy, feel free to shoot me an email and I’ll add it to the list if it’s not already in the pipeline.)
Cheers!
